Census Bureau: 69.2 percent of people in Republic were old enough to vote in 2020

Of the 16,571 citizens living in Republic in 2020, 11,464 were old enough to vote as of March 24, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 6,168 of those people were female and 5,296 were male.

Data for this story was compiled from the bureau’s American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.
