The Greene County Commissioners attended an announcement ceremony this morning, with Sheriff Jim Arnott, Governor Mike Parson and Director of the Missouri Department of Public Safety Sandy Karsten, for the new County Law Enforcement Academy.
The Academy, located at the new Jail’s Evidence and Storage Facility in west Springfield, will make it easier and faster for deputies to get the training and certifications they need for career advancement. Gov. Parson also toured the new facilities and was impressed with their design and the County’s ability to keep the project on time and under budget.
