Cost of college went up for all students at Evangel University

Tuition and fees rose 3 percent for 2018-19 at Evangel University, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Missouri students paid $23,421 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $676 more than the $22,745 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 373 students received grants or scholarships totaling $5.4 million and 389 students took out student loans totaling more than $2.7 million.

Including all undergraduates (2,098), 1,565 students used grants or scholarships totaling $21.2 million, and 1,521 students took out $11.2 million in federal student loans.
