Former Missouri State women’s basketball player Tina Robbins Wilson was announced on April 15 as a member of the 2026 Missouri Valley Conference Hall of Fame class.

Robbins, who played for the Lady Bears from 1991 to 1994 under coach Cheryl Burnett, helped her team achieve a record of 104 wins and 23 losses during her time at Missouri State. She is recognized for her contributions to four consecutive conference championship teams and being part of the university’s first four NCAA Tournament appearances.

Her achievements include earning NCAA Midwest Regional MVP honors in 1992 after leading Missouri State to victories over UCLA and Ole Miss, which advanced the Lady Bears to their first Final Four appearance in Los Angeles. The following season, she helped the team reach the Sweet Sixteen. As a senior, Robbins received honorable mention on the Kodak All-American Team and was named Most Valuable Player at the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament. She also earned Academic All-District VII recognition that year.

Robbins remains Missouri State’s all-time leader in career assists with 657 and holds the single-season record with 216 assists. In recognition of her accomplishments, she was inducted into the Missouri State Athletics Hall of Fame in 2002.

The other members joining Robbins in this year’s MVC Hall of Fame class are Paul Pressey (Tulsa men’s basketball), Ray Conger (Iowa State men’s track), Desiraye Osburn Speer (Wichita State women’s track), and Phil Rodgers (Houston men’s golf). These individuals will be honored at institutional events throughout the coming year.

Robbins is originally from Duenweg, Missouri, attended Joplin High School, and has completed her nineteenth season as head women’s basketball coach at Crowder College in Neosho.
