Missouri State’s Hansen and Heman earn spots on CUSA All-Academic Team

Missouri State University women's soccer players Abby Hansen and Reilly Heman have been named to the Conference USA All-Academic Team, according to an announcement from the league on Wednesday. The award recognizes student-athletes who perform well both academically and athletically. Eligibility for the honor requires a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2, sophomore standing or higher, and a role as a starter or key reserve.

Hansen, who is majoring in Finance and holds a 3.98 GPA, played in all 17 matches during the 2025 season. She scored three goals and led her team with five assists, totaling 11 points. Hansen also had a shots-on-goal percentage of .583 and recorded one game-winning goal.

Heman is an Accounting major with a perfect 4.0 GPA. She matched Hansen's total of 11 points by scoring four goals and providing three assists over the season. The junior forward started every match, was second on the team in goals scored and total shots taken (35), and maintained a .457 shots-on-goal percentage.

Missouri State is scheduled to play Western Kentucky on Sunday, November 2 at 3:30 p.m. Central Time in Lynchburg, Virginia for the Quarterfinals of the Conference USA Championship Tournament.
