City Council and the Citizens Advisory Committee for Community Development (CACCD) are set to hold a joint public hearing on January 9. The session will focus on the proposed use of funds for fiscal year 2025, which spans from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026. Additionally, discussions will cover the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Consolidated Plan for the years 2025-2029.
The hearing is scheduled at the Springfield Regional Police and Fire Training Center located at 2620 W. Battlefield Road at 6 p.m. Key topics include the Community Development Block Grant program and HOME Investment Partnerships Program, along with planned activities for both the upcoming fiscal year and the subsequent five-year period through fiscal year 2029.
