Earlier today, Senator Eric Schmitt met with Pam Bondi, who has been nominated by President Trump for the position of Attorney General. Following their meeting, Senator Schmitt released a statement expressing his support for Bondi's nomination.
"Pam Bondi is a good friend, and I have full confidence that she will serve the United States well as our next Attorney General. She is uniquely qualified to undertake the monumental task of restoring trust in the Justice Department. The next Attorney General should promote law-and-order, prosecute dangerous criminals, and safeguard Americans’ God-given rights and liberties. Pam Bondi will be a great Attorney General," said Senator Eric Schmitt.
