Missouri State University students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends will participate in Giving Day March 1-2.
Missouri State Giving Day is a 36-hour online event beginning at 10 a.m. March 1. It will connect Bears and Grizzlies across the globe.
“The impact a community can have in 36 hours is powerful,” said Greg Fansler, MSU director of engagement and alumni relations.
“Missouri State’s Giving Day is an opportunity for Bears worldwide to make a notable impact on our university,” Fansler said. “Our collective efforts will shape our university today and into the future.”
About Giving Day
Giving Day is a time for alumni and friends to show support by giving to their favorite Missouri State department, program, student organization or team.
“Our goal is to inspire 2,000 people to contribute to an area that means the most to them throughout the university’s colleges, units, programs and athletics teams,” Fansler said.
Bears are encouraged to make a gift between 10 a.m. March 1 and 10 p.m. March 2. Giving online ensures donations will qualify for matches and challenges taking place throughout the event.
“I invite everyone to join us to make our university system stronger this Giving Day,” Fansler said.
If those dates conflict with the donor’s schedules, there is an option to give early.
