Over the weekend, Greene County Sheriff’s Office partnered with Missouri State Highway Patrol and Springfield, MO Police Department for Operation Safe Ride. The purpose of Operation Safe Ride is to deter motorcycles from operating in a careless manner which would present a threat to the safety of the motoring public. Here are the stats from the event:

4 Traffic Pursuits assistance by Missouri State Highway Patrol Helicopter
10 arrests:
4 Felony Fleeing
1 Drug Arrest
5 Warrant Arrest
4 Recovered plates
1 Recovered stolen vehicle
12 Moving Traffic Violation Citations
