Five Springfield City Council members will host three town hall meetings in January and February, following a previous event held by Zone 3 Councilman Brandon Jenson in November 2025. The upcoming sessions are scheduled to take place across different city zones.

Zone 2 Councilman Abe McGull and General Seat B Councilman Craig Hosmer will jointly hold a town hall on Thursday, Jan. 29, from 6-8 p.m. at Alice Pittman Elementary School located at 2934 E. Bennett.

Zone 1 Councilwoman Monica Horton will organize her session on Thursday, Feb. 12, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at The Library Station, found at 2535 N. Kansas Expressway.

The third event will be co-hosted by Zone 4 Councilman Bruce Adib-Yazdi and General Seat A Councilwoman Heather Hardinger on Tuesday, Feb. 24, from 6:30-8:30 p.m., taking place at Cowden Elementary School at 2927 S. Kimbrough Ave.

Residents who are unsure of their council zone can view the City Council zone map online at https://www.springfieldmo.gov/councilzonemap.

“Springfield citizens are encouraged to attend any or all of the meetings to hear updates on what’s happening in Springfield, share ideas on how to make the community better and ask their City Council representatives questions,” according to the announcement.
