On March 1, 2026, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office reported several incidents and jail bookings across the county. A 36-year-old male was booked on a 24-hour hold for obstructing government operations, operating a motor vehicle belonging to another person while knowing the owner had not maintained financial responsibility, and violating Valentines law.
Deputies responded to multiple calls in different areas. In Fair Play, officers were called to the 300 block of East 2nd Street for both a physical assault and a vehicle or foot pursuit. In Pleasant Hope, deputies handled a domestic verbal incident at the 200 block of West Lewis Street.
A traffic stop was conducted at Highway 32 and Airport Drive in Bolivar. Deputies also responded to a medical call at the 100 block of South Bolivar Road in Humansville and investigated a theft at the 600 block of Main Street in Flemington.
There was a report of a missing runaway juvenile from the 5500 block of Highway 123 in Walnut Grove. Deputies attended to an ongoing dispute at the 900 block of East 500th Road in Bolivar and performed a well-being check at the 800 block of North Mary Street in Humansville.
Civil paperwork was served at several locations: the 1400 block of East 455th Road, the 1100 block of East Locust Street, and the 4100 block of South 101st Road—all in Bolivar—as well as at North Killingsworth Avenue and West Broadway Street.
