The Polk County Sheriff’s Office released information on April 5 about recent jail bookings and calls for service in the county. The report details a range of incidents, including one arrest and multiple responses to public safety concerns.
According to the sheriff’s office, a 43-year-old male from Pleasant Hope was booked on a 24-hour hold. The charges include domestic assault, endangering the welfare of a child, and property damage.
Deputies responded to several traffic stops in Pleasant Hope and Bolivar. Other calls included road hazards near E 430th Road and S 107th Road in Bolivar, motor vehicle accidents at Hwy 13/E 350th Road in Humansville and Hwy O/E 395th Road in Dunnegan, as well as reports of suspicious activity in Morrisville and Pleasant Hope.
Additional incidents involved property damage calls in Bolivar and Aldrich, theft reported at Hwy T in Aldrich, found property cases in Pleasant Hope and Bolivar, a child custody issue reported on N Claud Avenue in Bolivar, and a domestic physical incident on S Kay Street in Pleasant Hope.
The report highlights ongoing efforts by law enforcement to address various public safety issues throughout Polk County.
