The Polk County Sheriff’s Office reported on April 4 a series of law enforcement activities, including the booking and release of a 44-year-old male from Bolivar, Missouri. The individual was booked for driving while intoxicated, failure to display plates, littering, operating a vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner, and operating a vehicle on the highway without a valid license.
The report also details several traffic stops conducted by deputies in locations such as W Tilden Street and S Hancock Street in Humansville; N Cypress Street and E Fanny Street in Humansville; Hwy 13 and Hwy B in Bolivar; Hwy 13 and E 515th Road in Brighton; and Hwy 13 and Hwy N in Humansville. These stops were part of routine patrols throughout the county.
Deputies responded to various calls during this period. Incidents included responding to a dog bite at the 1100 block of E 520th Road in Morrisville, addressing road hazards at S 105th Road and Hwy B in Bolivar, investigating trespassing reports at S 110th Road/E 383rd Road in Bolivar as well as at the 5100 block of S 120th Road in Morrisville. Other responses involved checking on suspicious vehicles near E 515th Road/Grant Road in Morrisville, conducting well-being checks at S Ohio Street/E Tilden Street in Humansville, investigating shots heard at the 400 block of NW Osceola Road in Humansville, handling domestic physical disturbances at the 1000 block of E 368th Road Bolivar, as well as responding to a dropped emergency call from the area around the1500 block of E380th Rd. Bolivar.
These activities reflect ongoing efforts by local law enforcement to address public safety concerns across Polk County through regular patrols and prompt response to community calls.
