Polk County Sheriff’s Office reports jail bookings and incidents on April 14

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office reported several jail bookings and law enforcement responses on April 14. The agency listed arrests, calls for service, and other activities that took place throughout the county.

According to the report, a 44-year-old woman from Aldrich was booked on a 24-hour hold for hindering prosecution, obstructing government operations, and resisting or interfering with arrest. A 36-year-old man from Humansville was also booked on a 24-hour hold for second-degree burglary. In addition, a 46-year-old man from Bolivar faced booking for first-degree burglary.

A separate entry noted that a 57-year-old woman from Fair Play was booked and released after being charged with resisting arrest.

Deputies responded to various calls including multiple hang-ups to the emergency line in Bolivar, Fair Play, Halfway, and other locations. Other incidents included responses to child endangerment in Pleasant Hope; disturbances near S 136th Road/S 135th Road in Bolivar; trespassing in Aldrich; property damage in Morrisville; burglary not in progress in Halfway; theft in Bolivar; physical assault in Humansville; suspicious activity in Morrisville; as well as serving civil paperwork at different addresses across the county.

The report highlights routine law enforcement activity by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office as deputies continue their work addressing crime and responding to public safety concerns throughout the community.
