The Polk County Sheriff’s Office reported several incidents and an arrest on April 12. Carly Mathias, age 32, of Longlane, Missouri, was arrested on a warrant for armed criminal action and domestic assault.

The report includes responses by deputies to a motor vehicle accident in the 700 block of East College Street in Bolivar and an alarm in the 1300 block of South Springfield Avenue in Bolivar. Deputies also responded to a 911 hang up call from the 5000 block of South 142nd Road in Bolivar.

Several traffic stops were conducted throughout Bolivar, including at East Broadway Street and North Chicago Avenue as well as at South Springfield Avenue and East Jefferson Street. Additional stops occurred near the 4700 block of South 135th Road.

Deputies responded to reports of a prowler in the 4800 block of South 135th Road in Bolivar and handled a theft call from the 900 block of East 500th Road. Civil paperwork was served at the 600 block of South Ohio Street in Humansville.

A dispute in progress was addressed by deputies at the 400 block of North Hill Street in Fair Play. The sheriff’s office continues its efforts to respond to calls across multiple communities.
