Land Clearance for Redevelopment Authority announces virtual meeting for January 5

The Land Clearance for Redevelopment Authority will hold its regular meeting on Tuesday, January 5, at 4 p.m. The meeting will take place electronically using videoconferencing technology, as City offices are currently closed to the public.

Citizens who want to speak during the meeting must contact the Department of Planning & Development by 2 p.m. on Monday, January 4. They can do so by calling 417-864-1100 or emailing [email protected]. The agenda is available online. Those who sign up according to the new rule will be required to participate in the meeting electronically via teleconferencing. Physical distancing will be maintained and face coverings are required.

The City has stated that citizens who have flu-like symptoms, respiratory illness, fever, recent travel to affected areas, or exposure to individuals who have traveled or been evaluated for illness will not be allowed inside Historic City Hall.

Citizens may also submit their testimony or comments in advance by emailing them to the provided address; these will be included in the official minutes.
