Citizens Memorial Hospital and Pleasant Hope Family Medical Center have announced the addition of Jeanine M. Herrera, FNP-C, to their medical staff. Herrera brings over 19 years of clinical nursing experience to her new role.

Her previous roles include serving as a hospice nurse case manager and psychiatric outpatient nurse at CMH. Most recently, she was employed as a family nurse practitioner at Ozarks Community Health Center in Urbana for nine years and at the Judevine Center for Autism for 12 years.

Herrera’s educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Mesa State University in Grand Junction, Colorado, and a master’s degree in family nurse practitioner from Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa. She holds certification from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

In her new position at Pleasant Hope Family Medical Center, Herrera will work alongside Kurt Bravata, M.D., providing care for various conditions including acute illness or injury, wellness visits, allergies, colds, coughs and influenza, minor burns, fractures, sprains, strains and minor laceration repair.
