Jaime Renfro joins El Dorado Springs Medical Center as family nurse practitioner

Jaime Renfro, DNP, FNP-C, MPH, has joined the medical staff at El Dorado Springs Medical Center and Walk-In Clinic. Renfro brings over 22 years of nursing experience to her new role. She previously worked as the emergency room director and ICU director at Citizens Memorial Hospital and most recently served as an urgent care nurse practitioner at CoxHealth in Springfield.

Renfro holds a master’s degree in family nurse practitioner and a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Maryville University in St. Louis. She also earned dual degrees—a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Public Health—from Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

At El Dorado Springs Medical Center and Walk-In Clinic, Renfro joins a team that includes Bethany Dhondt, D.O.; Sherri Eador, FNP-C; Glenn Gardner, PA-C; Kaisha Hooper, FNP-C; and Shelly Sorden, FNP-C. As a family nurse practitioner, she will provide care for patients with acute illnesses or injuries as well as wellness visits and treatment for conditions such as allergies, colds, coughs, influenza, minor burns, fractures, sprains, strains and minor lacerations.
