Rachel Pruett, M.D., a general surgeon at CMH General Surgery Clinic, has received board certification from the American Board of Surgery. This credential follows five years of residency training and passing multiple examinations that test skills and knowledge in general surgery.
Dr. Pruett completed her medical degree at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Medicine in Little Rock and finished her general surgery residency at Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, Florida.
Her areas of focus include thyroid and parathyroid surgery, dialysis access procedures such as peritoneal dialysis catheter placement, AV fistula and AV graft. She also works on diagnosing and treating varicose veins, peripheral artery disease, and deep vein thrombosis.
The CMH General Surgery Clinic is located at 1155 W. Parkview St., Suite 1F, Bolivar. Dr. Pruett is currently accepting new patients, with most major insurance plans accepted by the clinic.
