Rep. Eric Burlison, U.S. Congressman representing Missouri’s 7th district since 2023, posted a series of messages on August 26, 2025, reflecting on national remembrance, regulatory policy, and an unspecified event.

In his first post at 13:40 UTC, Burlison addressed the anniversary of a tragic loss: “Thirteen brave Americans were lost in a day that never should have happened. We owe it to them—and to the families they left behind—to never forget their sacrifice and never repeat the failures that led here.”

Later in the day at 15:47 UTC, he commented on government regulation and technological innovation: “The future won’t be powered by red tape. For technologies like nuclear energy to thrive, businesses need the freedom to innovate and succeed without government interference.”

At 20:47 UTC, Burlison made a brief remark about an event or achievement with the message: “Three hours, 17 minutes. Unheard of.”

Burlison has represented Missouri’s 7th District in Congress since succeeding Billy Long in 2023. Before serving in Congress, he was a member of the Missouri House of Representatives from 2009 to 2017 and served in the Missouri Senate from 2019 to 2023. Born in Springfield, Missouri in 1976 and currently residing in Ozark, Burlison is an alumnus of Missouri State University.
