Rep. Eric Burlison, U.S. Congressman representing Missouri’s 7th district since 2023, shared a series of posts on September 4, 2025, voicing support for former President Donald Trump’s policies and leadership.
In his first post at 13:43 UTC, Burlison stated, “President Trump is making rural hospitals stronger than ever by putting patients first and fighting waste, fraud, and abuse in Medicaid. Great read https://t.co/tCNE2J9AHs”.
Later that day at 16:02 UTC, he posted another message: “We don’t need more left-wing grandstanding. We need real solutions. President Trump is keeping his promise to make America safe again. https://t.co/di1jodH9hm”.
At 17:35 UTC the same day, Burlison commented on Tom Homan’s suitability for a key immigration role with the statement: “Tom Homan was born to be the Border Czar. https://t.co/PSDhVXI8Ou”.
Burlison has represented Missouri’s 7th District in Congress since replacing Billy Long in 2023 and previously served in both chambers of the Missouri legislature between 2009 and 2023. He was born in Springfield, Missouri in 1976 and currently resides in Ozark.
He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from Missouri State University.
