Rep. Eric Burlison, a U.S. Congressman representing Missouri’s 7th district, recently used his social media platform to address issues of government transparency and election fundraising practices.
On April 3, 2026, Burlison announced that he and other lawmakers are seeking access to previously undisclosed videos related to unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs), stating, “Me and my colleagues are requesting access to undisclosed UAP videos that have come to our attention. Transparency is our top priority.”
Later that evening on April 4, 2026, Burlison posted a tweet containing only a link: “https://t.co/zGw7WaEWIL”.
In another post from the same day, Burlison referenced concerns about political fundraising practices in response to a recent New York Times report. He wrote, “I joined @FoxNews to discuss a New York Times report raising serious questions about ActBlue. They said everything was secure. Now we’re learning the safeguards weren’t always followed. Same pattern. Same playbook.”
Burlison has represented Missouri’s 7th District in Congress since 2023 after replacing Billy Long and previously served in both the Missouri House of Representatives and the Missouri Senate. He was born in Springfield in 1976 and currently resides in Ozark. Burlison earned two degrees from Missouri State University by 2002.
