Rep. Eric Burlison, a U.S. Congressman representing Missouri’s 7th district since 2023, recently posted a series of tweets addressing topics ranging from Easter greetings to concerns about oversight and government policy.

On April 5, 2026, Burlison shared an Easter message: “He is risen. Wishing you a happy Easter and a great day with family.”

The following day, on April 6, he raised concerns about the disappearance of individuals involved in advanced research: “The list of disappearing scientists and military personnel tied to advanced research and projects continues to grow. Congress must seek answers.”

On April 7, Burlison commented on taxation policies in Minnesota and federal oversight under the Trump administration: “It’s often said that taxation is theft. In Minnesota, that appears to be policy. Contrary to claims of a partisan ‘witch hunt,’ the Trump administration is enforcing long-overdue oversight of federal dollars. Read my latest in @theblaze”

Burlison succeeded Billy Long as representative for Missouri’s 7th district after serving in both chambers of the Missouri legislature between 2009 and 2023. Born in Springfield in 1976, he resides in Ozark and holds degrees from Missouri State University.
