Brookside Drive will be closed to traffic between Green Avenue and Linwood Circle from 6:30 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, Dec. 9. The closure is due to concrete work related to the expansion of the Springfield Art Museum.
Drivers are asked to use the detour route, which includes Virginia Avenue, Catalpa Street, Kings Avenue, and Bennett Street.
The Perry Tennis Courts and their parking lot will remain open and accessible during the construction period.
